Your Harrogate Local Heroes 2022 – big win

We are thrilled and very proud that our very own Clare Robinson (Community Development Manager) and Maryse Heywood (Volunteer) were both selected as finalists in the Your Harrogate Local Hero Awards 2022

Clare was a finalist for the Bettys Good Egg Award and Maryse was a finalist in the Volunteer of the Year category. This was an amazing and important event to acknowledge and celebrate all of the unsung heroes in our community and their hard work to support others.

We are so proud of them both and were thrilled when Maryse Haywood won the Volunteer of the Year award at the ceremony at  Rudding Park Hotel. Maryse has worked with our Ukrainian community and supported them during their journeys to the UK and as they have settled into life in Yorkshire. Such inspiring stories and amazing people.
