Hasan is one of the newest members to our board of Trustees. However, Hasan has been a regular Room Hirer at our community centre since 2015 and a tenant since March 2021; when Hasan worked with us to convert and renovate an older part of the building into a prayer space. He brings with him a unique insight into being an entrepreneur and growing a business.

Hasan is the Imam for Harrogate Islamic Association and advocates for his community locally and regionally. He has years of experience of community engagement, fundraising and leadership. Hasan is also an incredibly caring and joyful individual who regularly pops in to bring some cheer and encouragement. Hasan has supported the staff informally for years and we are privileged to have him on our board of Trustees, so he can continue to guide us in the future.
