Sue is a Knaresborough resident who led the team that brought Chain Lane Community Centre into community ownership between 2010 – 2015. As the founding CEO of Your Consortium (now Better Connect) she took the organisation from an innovative idea to an organisation that secured over £22m in funding for the voluntary and community sector across West and North Yorkshire during her time at the helm, working with over 200 partner organisations. In 2016 she established her own consultancy business to enable her to work with a wide range of partners to develop their capacity and capability. She re-joined the Chain Lane team in September 2021.
